The Peanut Harvester picks up peanuts and clears the soil and collects peanuts in the box. When the peanut harvester is working, the digging shovel scoops up peanuts along with soil. Under throwing and hitting of soil throwing wheel and pull over wheel, soil blocks are smashed and leak partly, then fine soil block and soil particles are discharged by circular rod sieve through continuous casting of three soil separating wheels. Peanut pods and a small amount of fine root and fine soil are thrown to the swing cleaning sieve, then fine soil would be discharged through the sieve pore and peanuts slip into the box on both sides by sieve surface. This peanut harvester is suitable for sandy loam soil with water content of 10 ~ 18%.

It is used to harvest peanuts for the farmers and can finish digging , cleaning, and peanut stalks laying in one operation, which could decrease the labor intensity, lessen harvesting cost, and improve working efficiency.

The common failures of peanut harvester mainly include instability of machine body, poor soil removal and loss of fruit. The main reason for unsteady machine body is that the swing of the digging shovel on both sides of peanut harvester is inconsistent or vibration of damper after digging shovel collision. Then, we need to adjust the length of the connecting rod. Poor soil removal means that there are much soil adhesion on peanuts harvested by the peanut harvester. This is caused by too deep digging of digging shovel that the swing intensity decreases, then we need to shorten the length of central pull rod appropriately to make the back-end of grid 3 ~ 5cm off the ground. The reason for high fruit loss of peanut harvester is that the digging shovel is too high. It can be solved by lengthening the length of the central pull rod, which is exactly opposite of the solution to poor soil removal.
