Peanut Screw Oil Press

The oil press is an advanced screw type oil processing equipment. Screw oil press, also known as oil seed expeller, is the essential part of the entire oil mill plant. Our screw oil press is an integrated type oil pressing equipment. It combines the vacuum filter, heater and electric control cabinet. It is widely used for processing sesame, groundnut, soybean, walnut, rapeseed and other oil plants. The oil press is quite popular among small oil mill and individual economic unit.
 

How Screw Oil Press Works

A screw oil press works by pushing oil seeds through a caged barrel-like cavity. The device uses continuous pressure and friction from the screw drives to compress and moves the oil seeds with the waste products exiting through the other side. The extracted oil flows out through small openings that do not allow the solid seed fiber to pass through. After that, the pressed seeds or waste products are formed into a hardened cake and is removed from the machine through another opening on the other side.

Maintenance of oil press:

1.Check the lubrication condition of the oil press every 50 hours. The oil bottle on the gear box can not be short of oil. Adjust the screw bearing from the screw holes with the squeezing screw shaft. Add butter per shift and prohibit dry grinding.
2. Dust and impurities should be prevented from falling in the lubricating part and check the oil quality of the reducer every year. The operator should replace all the oil when the deterioration of oil is found.
3. The wear parts of oil press should be replaced timely. When the press quality reduces or the discharging of cake or oil is not normal, the operator should remove the screw nut and check the wear condition of the pressing screw, pressing bar and the cake outlet ring.
4. The residual oil press cakes should be cleared after production. Clean the screw oil press and remove the dust and grease on the machine surface.
5. For the long time storage of the screw oil press, the operator should make a complete maintenance and unpick, wash and oil the pressing screw, pressing bar and cake outlet ring, then place them in a dry place.
